Easy Methods To Clean Your Carpets

We all admire a good house, with well-settled furniture, terrific interiors and a beautiful carpet. However, no matter how hard we try to keep our carpet clean, neat and tidy, but by some or the other means, it falls victim of the platters from your plate, wine or water from your glass and what so ever that at the bottom of your shoes. How, would we feel while seeing the thing we admired at once is getting dirty, right in front of our eyes?
So here are some carpet cleaning tips for you, so that the beauty of your floor remains constant for a long time;

 1.    Do Not Rub The Stains: One of the most efficient ways of carpet cleaning is blotting the stains. Instead of rubbing the blotch, one should dab it with any cleaning solution and put a sponge over it. This will suck the stain from the rug and there shall be no harm caused to the fibers of your carpet. What rubbing does is it grounds the particles of stains deeper than it was before. This makes even more difficult to clean the stain from the carpet.
2.    The Club Soda Process: You might have heard that a club soda is the best carpet cleaning tool. Well, it is, club soda can be used to wipe off the stains from the carpets caused due to alcohol. All you need to do is blot the stain with soda and keep it there for 10-15 minutes. This will weaken the soda strength from the carpet fibers and can be easily sucked by a clean sponge. Remember that we don’t have to rub the spot rigorously. All we need to do is just firmly keep the sponge on the spot soaked with soda and sponge will do the rest.
3.    Shaving Cream: According to experts, a shaving cream is the best stain removing tool used in carpet cleaning today. This tool works best on any general stains such as edible oil, or any other spills. What you need to do is, apply shaving cream on the spill and let it rest there for at least 30 minutes. Once the cream settles on the stain. You just need to blot away the creamed spot with a white cloth. This step should be followed by the spraying the mixture of vinegar and water. This will remove any stain that is the carpet.
4.    Freeze-Dried Gum: Well, this is the most disgusting situation that is to be handled. We do not realize that when the gum stuck to our shoes until we walk on our carpet. By the time we realize, that something is sticking, it's already too late. Well relax; there is a simple way to remove that gum from our carpet. As soon as you spot a gum stick on the rug, reach your refrigerator; bring a couple of ice from it. Now, apply that ice on the gum so that it can be dried off. Do it for at least one minute. Once it is done, then with the help of a spoon pull the gum little bit up and cut the fibers as close as possible from the gum. Doing this will remove the sticky gum from the rug and the damage shall not be visible also. This is an effective method of carpet cleaning as it can be done easily and simply.
So these are some home remedies to clean your carpet easily. These methods can be performed by anyone present in the house and can easily accomplish the task.
These steps have proved themselves time and again in regaining the lost beauty of floor by easily cleaning the carpet and making them as good as new.
